The sundew plant is found in wet, boggy places with a sandy soil.  The leaves give off a sticky substance that attracts insects.  The insects are captured by the tentacles on the top of the leaf.  They are trapped in a web of stickiness!  Then they are digested by enzymes in the leaf.  The leaf reopens and the trap is reset.
