Mrs. Moraitis' class had a chance to make Indian Rangoli. Rangoli is a design made on the floor with chalk powder and decorated with colored powder and glitter. This design is made in almost every Indian house on auspicious occasions and on various festivals. Some people can do a freehand design however today we used pre-designed boxes and filled it with chalk powder and the kids got to create their own shapes.
