Inauguration Day 2009

The excitement was palpable
throughout EVG and certainly throughout our country. The
inauguration of President Barack Obama filled us with good thoughts
and hope for the future and reminded us how far our country has come
since the days of Dr. Martin Luther King and his March on Washington
in 1963. TV screens and projectors were set up around the school so that our students could watch and remember this event first hand. Some student watched in the library, waving hand-made American flags. Others got a chance to watch either in the cafeteria or the auditorium. We are sure this day will be a memorable one for all. |
