Washington Mutual School Savings Program

 IMPORTANT NEWS

As you may have heard, the school based WaMu School Savings Program is ending as of May 1, 2009. This means that the Bank Days originally scheduled for May and June will be cancelled.

Your child’s school savings account will remain open and active, with quarterly service fees waived until he/she reaches the age of 19. Additional deposits can be made at the local branch located on 950 River Road at the corner of Dempsey Avenue or you can find alternative branches by visiting the website at wamu.com/findus.

As a reminder, all deposits are federally insured up to $100,000 by the FDIC.
