This week in math we will learn to balance simple equations and we will prepare for a Chapter 1 Math Test. In reading students will use a new reading strategy to help them better understand their text: inferences! Students will continue working on their Hispanic Heritage Baseball cards. In writing students will begin to publish a writing piece. We will also continue reviewing the Parts of Speech. In Social Studies we will discuss what historians need to study ancient cultures, we will define pre-history, and we will learn where and when people originated. Students will also have time to work on their fictional island maps. In science students will learn about volcanoes. |
