Messages From Ms. C	Today is the last day of first grade!
Reading	READ EVERY NIGHT FOR 20 MINUTES OR MORE!
Phonics and Grammar	Practice reading and writing all of your word wall words this year over the summer! Use your dictionaries for help, play sparkle, or memory!
Math	Try playing some math games at home with your family : war, top it, memory, dollar exchange! Remember to look for tricks when adding numbers! (make 10, find doubles, tallies, start with the biggest # first, draw pictures, flats, longs, cubes)
Science and Social Studies	OVER THE SUMMER: Visit museums in New York - The Children’s Museum of NY http://www.cmom.org/ Take a trip to the Botanical Gardens again and visit different exhibits http://www.nybg.org/
Other	HAVE A HAPPY, HEALTHY, AND SAFE SUMMER VACATION! HAVE FUN IN SECOND GRADE!!!!
